You will need to hold the highest security clearance to be eligible for this position.

Your future duties and responsibilities
 An Infrastructure Engineer who can hit the ground running on a secure complex project to assist with the continuing development and support of multiple internal and client based systems.
 You will be responsible for providing technical support in a number of areas in order to resolve issues and further develop the existing systems.

**The position is full time in Reading**

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
> Strong core infrastructure skills and experience with Windows Server (ideally 2008 R2 or Windows 2016) are a must. You will be comfortable troubleshooting and fixing issues in both reference environments and on Live systems. You will be comfortable documenting, testing, implement and support all changes following an approved change control process.

> Own work items through the entire lifecycle and ensuring deadlines met.

> Managing risk and working with other teams to ensure they are understood and balanced against multiple complex business objectives.

> Creating procedural documentation for use by support staff

Clearance Level: Must hold HLC

Occasional Travel may also be required to sites other than Reading across the UK.

Technical experience in at least some of the following:

• Clustered servers, DFSR replication, log-shipping
• Microsoft SCCM (WSUS Patching)
• Microsoft SCOM
• Microsoft DPM
• SQL Server
• McAfee EPO & HIPS
• Lumension/Ivanti
• PRISM Event Tracker
• Basic Cisco Networking
