Back End API Developer

Position Description
On our continued path to success our client base is growing and we looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join our team in a permanent position. The ideal candidate should be a senior level backend developer and will be dedicated to developing clean and modern code. You will also assist the rest of the backend team in determining API and database structure, and in looking for inconsistencies and security holes in the APIs.

Your future duties and responsibilities
Researching, evaluating, designing, developing, implementing, and improving state-of-the-art software in collaboration with software developers, system architects, and business stakeholders,
Communicating effectively within a multidisciplinary team, articulating technical concepts and ideas,
Growing a culture of best practices and peak standards,
Provide technical experience to a growing team of engineers

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
5+ years expertise
Security and data migration
Solid Database knowledge
API production (and consumption)
API documentation skills
Solid experience using related workflows in a distributed team environment
Strong analysis and troubleshooting skills
Familiarity with Agile development practices
