CEA/LETI/Healthcare department is a 150+ people department devoted to the development and industry transfer of micro- and nano- technologies in the biology and healthcare fields (Leti HEALTH, http://www-leti.cea.fr/en). Closely with hospital universities and institutions of higher education, the Healthcare Department develops new technologies to improve medical diagnosis and treatment of patients and works in a multidisciplinary environment at the chemistry/biology interface, in an applied research laboratory linking fundamental research and industrial transfer of technologies.

In cooperation with a CEA fundamental biology group and a Grenoble University hospital group, Leti Health has initiated an innovative Organ-On-Chip project. The candidate will be integrated in the project interdisciplinary team composed of 10 people, with skills in regenerative medicine, cell biology, microfluidics, 3D cell printing, biosensors. His/her role will be focused on the design of innovative materials for 3D cell culture/organoid development, their characterizations and their processing, as well as their interface with sensors monitoring the biological parameters. (S)He will also work in close interactions with the project team members for the integration of the whole chip, and further in-situ evaluation of the materials.
Profil recherché
Profil du candidat
Applicants should hold a Ph. D in Sciences, specialized in Material sciences and engineering, with a background in polymer characterizations (rheology, mechanical properties, FTIR…) and cell culture.
Ability to work in a cross-disciplinary environment in connection with biologists, chemists, physicists and clinicians is absolutely required. Good skills in English.
