Job Purpose and Summary

A solid logistics infrastructure is key for a smooth supply chain. Fast and flexible transportation networks, differentiated warehousing solutions and complex value-added services are some characteristics of our mission. Different requirements towards our supply-chain due to development of our systems and the need for differentiated service level agreements drive the need for a flexible 3PL network. Develop the supply-chain infrastructure in line with business requirements and against aligned norms. Focused on the rapid developments a team of highly educated professionals drives the supply-chain infrastructure based on market intelligence, innovations, business needs, 3PL performance and process analytics.

Job purpose:
Support the operational process within SCM by providing key data, reports and project and analytical support. Controls all operational activities in the central and a regional warehouse. Create business cases that are efficiency and/or savings related.

Responsibilities:


·  Support operational processes by providing key data, reports and analytical support.
·  Support key process changes and projects that require high level of data analysis. Prepare business cases that are required for operational efficiency improvement or cost savings (e.g. warehouse operations improvement, transport improvements, end to end supply chain network improvements).
·  Monitor operations centrally and in the regional warehouse in close contact with 3rd party suppliers (3PL) with regards to performance, budget control and cost saving.
·  Analyse the Operations in the own and 3PL organisation in order to support the future developments while constantly looking for “process improvements” in the operation, creating business cases and action plans for process improvements.
·  Work with internal and external partners to improve and optimise the warehouse operations, performance and execution.
·  Support in the realisation of Strategic directions of Canon and European operational projects (projects space utilisation and cost analyses).

·  Relevant education (minimum bachelor degree)
·  3+ years of experience as Logistics Analyst

·  Experience with Transport Management Analytics will be a plus
·  Good analytical skills
·  Good understanding of Supply Chain Management
·  Good knowledge of systems (e.g. Oracle EBS)

·  Excellent communication and problem solving skills
