Job Purpose and Summary

·  Several successful years in an area of experience required, as
o Level 1: Service(s) or Functions roles
o Level 2: Sales or Sales Management roles – or level 1 roles
·  Several years of experience in the field of the target audience or a proven understanding of the field – credible to the target audience
·  Business acumen, customer orientated thinking both conceptual and operational
·  People orientated and motivational talent in a group environment
·  Ability to work independently and experience in collaborating with virtual teams and functions
·  Willing and ability to travel within the EMEA region up to 60% of the time
·  Bachelor’s degree or equal level of experience
·  Language: English and other languages based on required area of delivery

Facilitate learning interventions and programs to assigned delegates in line with the direction of the Canon EMEA strategic goals and objectives.
Develops learning programmes / curricula based on the learning need analysis (LNA) specified by the Learning & Development Consultant. 
Analyses the learning needs in detail, uses the appropriate methodology and content for maximum learning and performance development impact.
Is ambassador of the People Development learning practices and offerings in the countries active.

·  Development of learning curricula, programmes and events which address capabilities needs identified by LNA activity and specified by the Learning & Development Consultant or Lead, meeting the specified objectives and the desired outcomes in the most efficient and effect manner for the business.
·  Ensure that the most appropriate intervention and delivery method is identified as part of the learning design and development. Utilising up to date knowledge of the latest tools available, understands and practices 70:20:10 methodology.
·  Facilitate pilot courses to assist in the evaluation of the programme, content and delivery method, as well as training any required learning & development professionals (train-the-trainer).
·  Owner of assigned development and learning programmes. Responsible for their content maintenance and delivery, including the support and quality assurance of any learning & development professionals who deliver it.
·  Ensure that the development and learning programmes are submitted to Learning Operations and via them are made accessible to the whole of the Canon EMEA organisation by adherence to the Canon Development Hub.
·  Facilitating learning in line with the defined programs and delivery method. Identify the appropriate and most effective development or learning method and technique, e.g. 70/20/10, blended, integrated.
·  Creates optimum development and learning environment and conditions to ensure every delegate has the opportunity and motivation to reach the objectives identified.
·  Provide feedback to the delegate and/or their manager which will ensure the maximum business benefit and via a full understanding of the complete offering/curricula available, assist in identifying possible future development plans and learning programmes and actions as needed.
·  Sustainable, professional, and cost-effective learning - provide evaluation, feedback on the learning blend, content and delivery method to the relevant Learning Consultant / Lead. Secures achievement of learning outcomes and performance in line with capabilities and learning needs analysis
·  Invests and maintains in one’s own level of knowledge and understanding on specific subject matter expertise so that they are able to maximise the learning from each of the events they facilitate. Plays a key role in the People Development and Learning community with EMEA so as to promote, share and learn ‘best practice’.
·  Ensure all required resources and facilities are available for their assigned learning sessions by working with the local Learning & Development Business Partner (L&D BP), or Learning Coordinator.
