Job description

Job Purpose and Summary

To achieve assigned sales targets from Channel Manager. Responsible for initial contact with accounts, negotiations, execution of the deal, and support after the deal (client questions).
To develop and exploit business opportunities within a defined account list (regional based or client based). Through focused account management increase sales of Canons value propositions to existing customers as well as generate new business clients. This is achieved through building excellent internal and external customer relationships, managing resources, and being a strong ambassador for Canon.

Provide product advice to customers and capture the customer requirements, identifying opportunities for improved performance, productivity and efficiency using the Canon portfolio and establish strong relationships in all designated accounts providing information and education on relevant Canon propositions. Reflect the requirements in the defined Account Plan using the standard template
Lead the cross functional delivery team in order to ensure the customer has a single and coherent experience of Canon
Conduct account reviews on a planned periodic basis with the customer and ensure customer data and information is collated in advance of the review
Formulate the negotiation plan, negotiate and finalize the customer contract within the relevant national contract process
Monitor, forecast and report on progress with reference to agreed performance targets
Identify ways of improving the overall service and market approach provided by Canon and feedback to management the lessons learnt through customer contact
Up sell Canon's Services propositions and work closely with the C&C and Product Management team to identify sales opportunities
Where necessary, arrange with C&C to provide sales and product training and demonstrations to the partners
Monitor service level agreements with major accounts and ensure that client issue resolution (Canon Helpdesk) is adequately managed
First point of contact for respective client questions
(ie. document management, consultancy services, security solutions, etc)

Local languages and Business English Basics (minimum requirement)

Should be able to demonstrate past experience (at least 3 years in managing national or multinational accounts preferably within the imaging or print management industry) and success in the role applying for or, should be able to demonstrate minimum standards needed to be employed in job role
In the case of ‘vertical’ market specialists – five years successful track record of achieving targets working within and selling to the vertical market or industry specified
