Previous Experience/ Education

• Relevant recognized formal qualifications (university level) - desirable.

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar international or regional role (e-commerce business) – very desirable

• Experience in digital marketing and social media experience – very desirable

• Background and knowledge of market environments, online trends – very desirable.

• Fluency in written and spoken English ( essential ) and Arabic ( desirable ) .

• High level of written and spoken communications – essential.

• Professional appearance, attitude and communication style – essential.

• Familiarity with MS Office applications, i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint - essential.

Physical Requirements

• Current clean UAE/GCC driving license.

• Overseas travel and periods away from home.

• Able to work on own initiative.

The E-Business Account Manager will be responsible to lead Canon Middle East launch of e-commerce with the first Canon E-store for UAE and  for Canon online revenue & profitability targets, developing an online business strategy in collaboration with the Sales & Marketing teams.The E-business Account manager will liaise with the relevant teams to come up sales marketing & e-CRM campaigns to attract more visitors and increase profitable online sales.

-The position is responsible set-up, maintaining and growing sales through an E-store that offers Canon’s range of imaging products & accessories.

- The candidate would be responsible for running the end-to-end operation of the Canon e-store leading to delivery of targeted topline sales revenue and profits.

- Manage & Maintain the E-store: Develop and maintain the E-store in liaison with E-commerce team at CEL and with local ICT support. Ensure functionality and end-user experience of website viz. ease of ordering and product information and all other information are up to date in liaison with the e-commerce team at CEL.

- Sales Budgets: Develop sales budget for E-store in line with company growth targets and considering online business trends. The sales targets will be product category level budgets for online sales developed in liaison with the Business Development Manager for Digital Services & the category Product managers.

- Product & Pricing: Liaise with BDM and PM to develop the optimal product mix including value-bundles & offerings to maximize traffic conversion. Monitor inventory levels, fast moving SKU’s and ageing stocks. Manage pricing policy that aligns with the market channel pricing dynamics and ensures there is no channel conflict.

- Website Traffic & Marketing: Work closely with the BDM-Digital Services, Marketing Services & European E-com team to device strong marketing and digital marketing investment plans to maximize web traffic, strategize traffic conversion and traffic retention. Leverage from existing Canon digital platforms. Leverage from all the offline activity across the market to drive marketing into Canon E-store.

- E-CRM: Work closely with the Digital Marketing Specialist to deliver a strong E-CRM strategy for the E-store and be heavily involved in the web analytics monitoring and action plans based on such analytics. Create a strong value proposition for E-CRM based on targeted customer groups.

- Marketing Investment Budgets: Create an annual biz plan & activity calendar with clear marketing plans and investment budget with clear milestones of achievement at monthly and quarterly level.

- Competitor Analysis: Keep abreast of online business trends and tactics within industry and across industry to feed into business plan and e-store business tactics. Remain competitive in the market space and do market research for new product value-offering

- Analytics and Reporting: Generate reports to analyze business growth and opportunity from website. Work closely with digital specialist and CEL to analyze the customer’s activity, pattern of purchases to increase revenue. Creating a better experience for the customer as well as ability to track customer footprints on the website. Develop monthly reports to share with multiple stakeholders.

- Logistics & Supply-chain: Work Closely with the Business operations team to ensure the Supply-chain workflow is seamless and customer journey & experience is always at it best.

- Finance & Accounting: Liaise with the Finance team to ensure the accounting and consolidation is efficient and seamless.

- Customer Support: Monitoring and Reporting of the customer service SLA’s

- Management Reporting: Create timely management reports and monthly progress monitoring reports for reporting into management and other stakeholders at CE

- E-commerce Strategy and MTP: Be a lead member and contribute to the E-commerce regional expansion strategy and play a plead role in project management for expansion plans.
