Role synopsis

The expansion of the Fuels NA Retail business is critical to the long term strategic position of BP in North America and is a foundational growth platform for the business. A new channel - Multi-Site Contract Operator (MSCO) - is being implemented in order to capture a larger proportion of the profitability growth opportunity in the ampm footprint within the NW. The MSCO portfolio growth to many hundreds of sites within the next few years.

The MSCO Coordinator role is critical to the success of deploying and coordinating activities for the MSCO Channel of Trade as it grows. This role will be the main resource to coordinate and liaise with key departments to ensure successful implementation of future MSCO clusters and sites. The role will also be responsible for the coordination of operational licenses, accounts, and invoicing, while supporting Price Book updates as necessary.

With the majority of time spent in the La Palma office, the role will support also the MSCO Performance Analyst. In coordinating MSCO launches, the role will liase with the ampm Convenience marketing, Advertising, Operations, Retail Operational Support, Business Development, Fuel Pricing and Supply, Global Business Services (GBS), IT and Legal teams.

Key accountabilities

Key Activities to Include:

Leading the coordination, development and implementation of the operational processes required to launch Clusters/Sites for the MSCO channel. After implementation, the role will be responsible for continuous improvement and automation of these processes. Collaborate with many others to continuously improve ampm / ARCO programs, product range, promotions and standards.

MSCO Coordination & Project Management
·  Activity Coordination and Project Management for implementation of new MSCO Clusters and Sites. Owns the task/activity tracker, timeline, and communications with key functional partners. Under guidance from MSCO Performance Analyst, this role assists and identifies opportunities to improve processes and execution problems to support wider MSCO roll out.
·  Leads weekly MSCO Implementation team meetings to track status and actions. Operations Support – Licenses, Payments, and Accounts
·  Coordinates the application and completion of MSCO Site Business Licenses. Develops a process for tracking and renewal of licenses
·  Owns the recurring Invoicing and Payment process – responsible for creating PO's, communicating with vendors, submitting invoices, supporting EFT reimbursements, and ensure payments are made accurately and on time
·  Coordination of vendor and utility accounts in preparation for MSCO site launches
·  Supports Pricebook and Category Management teams as necessary for Pricing and Product updates Stakeholder Relationship Management
·  Interacts regularly with ampm Convenience Marketing, Advertising, Operations, Retail Operational Support, Business Development, Fuel Pricing and Supply, GBS, IT&S and Legal team

Essential experience and job requirements

·  3-5 years experience in Retail Operations and/or project management.
·  Comfortable with ambiguity and shaping new initiatives, and working independently.
·  Ability to manage multiple priorities, while being results driven.
·  Strong communicator across all levels of the organization.
