Your contribution to something big
Engineer supporting development of the Integrated Power Brake Center of Competence (iPB CoC) reservoir design team in North America.
Responsibilities include:
• Development of detailed requirements for iPB reservoirs.
• Support of global programs with reservoir design.
• Development of state of the art design and analysis tools for polypropylene reservoirs.
• Development of global design guidelines for iPB reservoirs.
• Maintaining alignment between regions in the design of iPB reservoirs.
• Ensure compliance to all government regulations for iPB reservoirs.
• Coordinate with the platform development team the performance that all system performance requirements are met.
• Ensure all customer specific requirements are met and are consistent with design guidelines.
• Work closely with regional customer applications to meet project performance requirements for reservoir.
What distinguishes you
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSME preferred) or equivalent four year technical degree.
• 3 or more years of experience in the design and development of polypropylene pressure vessels.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Ability to travel Internationally.
• Experience with FEA tools or equivalent a plus.
• Ability to work in Catia V5 or NX a plus.
• Knowledge of polypropylene molding and material properties a plus.
• Related experience within automotive power braking systems.
• German language skills a plus.
