Part of our Engineering Process and Tools Division, the position will be located in our site in Crespin (France), and will report to the Regional Key User for Data Management.
GENERAL BACKGROUND
Produce and maintain SAP and/or PDM project structure for the Engineering function and projects, while also supporting local deployment of the respective projects.
Align local practices with regional/global governance, represent the site within the Network of Regional key users while also offering guidance and support to the users.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & CHALLENGES
- Management and general administration of SAP and/or PDM for the Engineering area (including but not limited to user tables configuration, data accuracy, tool methodology alignment with area standards/procedures while also as per the global governance);
- Ensure required level of service/support is delivered for the ongoing projects and the users within the site (including but not limited to change requests management, work instructions definition, reporting, troubleshooting, communication and others similar);
- Deliver and coordinate local training activities for the Engineering functional area SAP and/or PDM users and other key users;
- Run performance and User Acceptance Tests (UAT);
- Organize and maintain a network of key users within the site while also providing support to the function in identifying and/or measuring the competency levels.

Qualifications
YOUR EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 3 years of experience in the field of Product Data/Lifecycle Management and/or as a SAP key user (with focus on the Engineering area and/or projects);
- Solid user experience preferably with at least 2 of the following methodologies and/or tools: PDM, SAP VCM, SAP, Catia v5;
- Good understanding of engineering related subjects as but not limited to technical specifications, specifications for manufacturing and development, and the types of materials that will be required in the production process (railway focus preferably);
- Strong analytic skills, proven record of engineering projects understanding and/or involvement and strong ability to get and manage inputs from multiple stakeholders;
- Good communications skills and some background in training delivery will be a strong asset for the role;
- Fluency in French with at least an upper-intermediate English level and a degree in Engineering, Business Administration and/or Economics.
