BOGIE INTEGRATION INTERFACE ENGINEER (M/F)

Purpose of the role:

The Bogie Integration Interface Engineer is responsible for the mechanical, electrical, pneumatical, propulsion and brakes and functional physical integration of the bogie /carbody mounted / related systems, as follows: cinematic, functionalities of all systems mounted on bogies in relation with complete vehicle, test specification and follow-up, homologation and final customer documentation and management according the above scope

He assures the interface with the Project Core Team, Suppliers, Customer and other engineering functions in RoQ and Region. He is responsible for the final performances as well as the reliability, maintenance and safety requirements of the bogie/carbody integration and interfaces. In addition, he can follow the internal validation plan of the Bogie in relation with the Project Engineer and internal engineering function (dynamic & structure).

Key responsibilities:

1. Product strategy, Bid and Start-up

• Analysis and evaluation of the customer specifications, standards and regulations

• Writing of technical requirement documents and functional analyses and contractual technical documents

• Participation to definition of the system concept and write technical descriptions

• Defining, managing and follow-up of all system interfaces

• Defining budget and planning.

• Estimating technical risks and defining mitigation plans

• Evaluating technical offers from suppliers(Clause-by-clause reply)

• Preparing and leading design reviews with other departments (RoQ and Region and partners (if existing)) and with the customer.

• Supporting Bogie Project Engineer on all Design reviews

• Follow-up of engineering planning and anticipating on potential delay in relation with interfaces

• Reviewing of supplier deliverables / documents (CDRL) related to interfaces

2. Execution

• Preparing and follow-up of the Bogie/Carbody intergation Test Program Plan and/or Bogie alone.

• Verifying the test procedures proposed by supplier or Region

• Attending to type tests on bogie/carbody integration (and/or bogie alone)

• Supervising and coordinating type tests on bogie/carbody integration

• Validating test results and write test reports.

• Analysing problems, creation and implementation of corrective actions

• Supporting/verifying Maintenance and Operating Manuals

3. Other responsibilities, when needed

• Analysing faults and problems (functional, safety, reliability)

• Creating and implementing corrective actions and validate the solutions

• Updating the documentation

Profil recherché

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Mechanical / Electromechanical Engineering.
• 3 years of experience in system engineering of mechanical / electromechanical systems, in the rail industry
• System Integration and System Architectural understanding is essential
• Experience and hands on delivery of the design, analysis, development, testing and delivery of engineering solutions that solve complex requirements.
• Be able to demonstrate the ability to use this technical knowledge in the support engineering
• Good knowledge of MS Office tools (Word, Excel).
• Good knowledge of Catia V5 kinematic module, Catia V5 electrical module and Catia V5 pneumatical module
• Language skills: French: fluent, English: fluent; Basic knowledge of German is an advantage
