VIE Leveraged Finance Capital Markets Analyst – Madrid, H/F

Concrètement votre quotidien ?

Dans le cadre de vos missions, vous interviendrez sur plusieurs aspects :

o Origination & Exécution :

- Vous élaborerez des rapports de crédit interne et des présentations pour clients ;

- Vous réaliserez des analyses de marchés, d'opportunités d'investissement et l'analyse financière des compagnies espagnoles et portugaises ;

- Vous élaborerez des modèles financiers ;

o Portfolio management & Reporting :

- Vous étudierez les compagnies du portfolio ;

- Vous assurerez le suivi de performance, opérationnelle et financière, des entreprises ;

- Vous gérerez les communications avec le management et les équipes de syndication (si nécessaire) ;

- Vous organiserez des événements et réunions ;

- Vous utiliserez les outils de crédit interne.

Vous rejoindrez l´entité CIB (Corporate & Investment Banking) et l´équipe de Leveraged Finance que vous soutiendrez dans ses activités d'origination et d'exécution comme dans l'activité de portfolio management & reporting.

Vous travaillerez pour l'équipe leader en Leveraged Finance en Espagne et participerez à d'importantes transactions à l'échelle nationale.

Le poste est basé à Madrid et les locaux sont situés à Emilio Vargas. Le réseau de transports en commun garantit un accès très aisé aux locaux de BNP Paribas.

Et après ?

Vous ferez partie intégrante de l'équipe LFCM (Leveraged Finance Capital Markets) et serez en relation avec les autres équipes LFCM EMEA (e.g. Londres, Paris, Brussels, Francfort et Milan).

Cette mission vous permettra d'évoluer à un poste d'analyste dans le domaine des financements.

D'une façon plus générale, la formation rigoureuse à ce type de crédit structuré offre des ouvertures dans le domaine des financements structurés ou du Private Equity dans un environnement international.

Vous développerez des compétences d'analyse financière et de marché mais aussi de modélisation financière sur différents secteurs d'activité.

A vous de nous convaincre !

Oui, si vous êtes titulaire d'un Master 2 en Finance et justifiez d'une expérience de 6 mois minimum (stage et alternance inclus) sur un poste similaire.

Vous parlez couramment anglais et avez un niveau avancé en espagnol.

Vous maîtrisez parfaitement le Pack Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Bloomberg et les outils de modélisation.

Par ailleurs, vous disposez de solides connaissances en financement à effet de levier, financement lié à une acquisition, restructuration et en analyse du risque.

De plus, votre rigueur et votre capacité à collaborer seront des atouts essentiels. Ajoutez à cela votre capacité à synthétiser, votre écoute active et votre adaptabilité pour finir de nous convaincre.

Durée et disponibilité

Your daily routine ?

You will participate on different projects and tasks :

o Origination & Execution :

- Drafting of internal credit memo ;

- Elaboration of market analysis and investment opportunities ;

- Client pitches ;

- Financial analysis on Spanish and Portuguese companies ;

- Financial modeling ;

o Portfolio management & Reporting :

- Portfolio company studies ;
- Follow-up of companies' performance (operational and financial) ;
- In charge of communication with management and syndicate desks (if necessary) ;
- Organization of meetings and events ;
- Use of internal credit tools.

The working environment is important !

The position is within CIB (Corporate & Investment Banking) and the Leveraged Finance Capital Market team. You will provide direct support in its daily activities of Origination, Execution and Portfolio management.

You will contribute to the leading Leveraged Finance team in Spain and participate to large national-scale transactions.

The position is based in Madrid, Spain, at Emilio Vargas office. Our offices are bright and well equipped with all the facilities required including cafeteria. Also, it is easy to commute form different areas, and we also provide a bus shuttle from 2 different locations in Madrid.

The next steps?



You will be part of the LFCM team (Leveraged Finance Capital Markets) and will have interactions with other LFCM EMEA teams (e.g. London, Paris, Brussels, Francfurt and Milan).

This mission will allow you to apply for analyst positions in the financing area. More generally, the opportunity of working in the leading Leveraged Finance team in Spain will offer opportunities in International Structured Finance, Private Equity...

You will develop your analytical skills (financial, market) and modeling skills in a various range of business sectors.

Are you our next VIE Leveraged Finance Capital Markets Analyst ?

You have a Master degree with a specialization in Finance and have gained first experience (internships and work-study program included) in this field.

You speak fluent English and you are also proficient in Spanish.

You have a very good command of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), modelling tools and Bloomberg.

You have a solid knowledge in risk analysis, restructuring, leveraged & acquisition financing.

You demonstrate the ability to synthetize and the capacity to collaborate. Your active listening as well as your rigor and your ability to adapt will be assets to progress on this mission.
