CIB in Switzerland includes the following activities: Energy & Commodity Financing, Global Markets, Corporate Banking, and Coverage.

BNP Paribas in Switzerland is a major player in the Fixed income markets not only for bonds in all major foreign currencies, but also for the origination, placement and trading of Swiss Franc bonds, as well as Interest, Credit and Foreign Exchange Structured Products and Derivatives. To reinforce and to develop our Global Markets activities in Zurich, Switzerland, we are looking for a University graduate to join:

Graduate Program (18 months) in

Syndication

The key duties and responsibilities include:

· Active support of the syndication team (deal execution)

· Preparation of offers and term-sheets

· Being responsible for the booking of securities transactions

· P&L and risk analysis

· Troubleshooting settlement issues and ensure that they are quickly resolved

· Active involvement in the execution of primary transactions

· Proactive contribution to Syndicate in term of trade idea generation

· Maintenance of databases

· After initiation covering the desk in absence of team members

Qualifications:

· Recently graduated from University in Banking/Economics/Finance

· Strong interest in the area of Finance, Capital Markets and Syndicate

· Minimum 6 months of work experience (internship) within a financial institution

Main Skills required:

· Self-motivation, strong team working capability with the ability to build and maintain good relationships with different contact persons on all hierarchical levels

· Ability to prioritise workload, sense of urgency and attention to detail, work precisely, fast and well organised under time pressure

· Show high flexibility, ability to adapt and work independently

· Advanced user of Microsoft Office (Excel in particular), VBA knowledge expected

· Basic knowledge of Bloomberg and Reuters

· Fluency in German and English is a must, French knowledge is an advantage combined with good oral and written communication skills
