ESG Quant Analyst

The Quant Analyst will actively participate in a number of team projects:

· The efficient management of ESG databases and the development of ESG analysis. This includes ensuring the tools are reliable and consistent, developing and adapting the ESG database to the needs of its users, integrating company notes and ESG reporting.

· IT developments to facilitate enhancements in the ESG research process, including the update of the ESG research methodology (new KPIs, additional investment universes, etc.), development of ESG reports, analysis of the correlation between ESG and traditional performance analysis as well as contributing to new sustainable products.

· Impact reporting: management and development of this project on indicators/KPIs and tools to measure the ESG impact of funds and BNPP AM as a whole

The successful candidate will work within the Sustainability Centre, which undertakes innovative research and policy development, guides BNPP AM's investment stewardship and industry engagement activities, and supports investment teams in accessing, integrating and reporting on ESG factors.

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage, develop and adapt the ESG database to the needs of its users

· Contribute to IT developments enabling enhancements to our ESG research process

· Contribute to the development of new reporting tools

· Manage and develop our impact reporting project

In addition, this role will also involve:

· Working closely with various teams including the Sustainability Centre, IT and financial engineering

Essential Qualifications/Experience:

· Three year minimum working experience

· Engineer or financial studies (Master's degree)

· Experience in project management in large or complex organisations

· Sound understanding of ESG and finance

· Proven ability to work effectively both individually and as part of a team

· Good communication and written skills in English and French
