key responsibilities
„ Instrument Creation
- Set up the security in the security master database within a specific time frame to allow the fund manager to trade on the market.( 30 minutes)
- Create data quality controls on the Security Master Database.
- Cope with the requests from Internal and External clients who encounter difficulties related to instrument data.
- Able to manipulate and analyse static data. -> explain what Static data is
- Follow up of improvement projects relating to the Security Data database.
- Data maintenance (performs daily control and correct the database)
- Write, update and follow procedures
- Escalate all problematic issues / risk to your manager.
„ Funds & Mandates
- Complete lifecycle (not clear???) of funds in Front Office Tools and Product database (and communication to whom??? when changes, update the different databases,)
- Handle events on Funds: mergers, cloning (what is cloning???),
- Ensure communication to all relevant parties and provide controls

„ Other colleagues & managers within Investment Operations

Role Requirements
Essential qualifications & experience
„ Master Degree in Economics / Finance
„ No experience required
„ Product knowledge: mandates/funds, financial instruments (bonds, equities, etc.)
„ Knowledge in Excel. Other IT knowledge (VBA/SQL) is a plus, but not a requirement.
„ English is mandatory - French and/or Dutch
