Where the Chemistry Happens

To support and maintain the site’s manufacturing process related equipment in the Solid Core area. Contributes and adheres to safety, environmental, quality and EEO/AA standards of the corporations, division and location.

Core Responsibilites:

·  Supporting and maintaining the site's manufacturing process related equipment in the Solid Core area.
·  Maintain proper housekeeping at all times and continuosly upgrade the standard as well as maintaining production statistics.
·  Self-directed maintenance, calibration, and other instrumentation activities
·  Supervise training for other employees including developing training plans as per the departments training manual to progress skill levels.

Qualifications

Formula for Success
· In-depth and broad experience in process and manufacturing methodology related to solid material handling or chemical processing.

· Well-developed analytical and organizational skills.

· Strong analytical, troubleshooting and computer related skills.

· Mechanical Aptitude

· Ability to communicate with subordinates peers and supervisors particularly in areas of job instruction, quality and performance.

· Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and climb steps/ladders as well as lift up to 50 lbs.

· This position will have daily interaction with the other operators, production staff, and warehouse staff, QC Manager, Quality Control Coordinator, maintenance staff and Production Manager to carry out daily responsibilities.

· Daily activities may need to be coordinated with the other production department operators and warehouse staff.

· Hazardous chemicals are used in the production areas however training and personal protective equipment is readily available.
