Performs intensive qualitative and quantitative due diligence on industry and company factors. Analysts participate in the structuring, underwriting and documentation of credit facilities designed to meet both client and investor needs as well as balance the bank's internal risk/return requirements. Research, write and present financial and industry analyses in support of company specific and portfolio level decisions. Evaluate transaction and relationship risk-adjusted profitability to facilitate the allocation of capital. Monitor all elements of the bank_x001A_ credit exposure to its clients across its international network, including periodically reassessing internally assigned risk ratings. Manage credit exposure associated with the bank broad range of products including Leasing, Commodities/Foreign Exchange, Derivatives, Treasury Management, Receivable Securitization Conduits, etc. Generally began program in summer of 2013.

Description

Candidates shall support the origination, underwriting and portfolio management of Oil and Gas clients. In addition to monitoring a portfolio of loans for changes in credit quality, candidates will be responsible for drafting credit approval memoranda analyzing the cash flow, liquidity, leverage, collateral, and business and industry risk of each borrower. Candidates must ensure effective and consistent compliance with established regulatory guidelines, as well as internal BofA policies and procedures. An introductory understanding of BofA’s capabilities and product suite will ultimately be required, including Treasury & Cash Management, Loan Syndications, Merger & Acquisitions (M&A), FX, Derivatives, Securities Products, Leases, Commodities and other Traded Products. Candidates will be responsible for driving speed to market and maintaining asset quality. They must be able to handle multiple projects, deliver a high quality and timely work product, and interact collaboratively with Associates and Credit Officers.                

Other responsibilities shall include:

·  Research, write and present financial and industry analyses to drive company and portfolio level decisions
·  Participate in the structuring, underwriting, and documentation of credit facilities designed to meet both client and investor needs, as well as balance the Bank’s internal risk/return requirements
·  Conduct detailed financial analysis, including financial projection modeling and company valuations
·  Monitor and manage credit exposure associated with the Bank’s broad range of products
·  Review term sheets, credit agreements, ISDAs, and other legal documentation

Candidates must demonstrate a combination of academic aptitude, quantitative skills, teamwork and initiative. Other qualifications include:

·  Undergraduate or Graduate degree in Business, Finance, Economics or Accounting.
·  1-2 years of banking experience in corporate underwriting, leveraged finance, or client management
·  1-2 years of Oil and Gas industry experience
·  Strong work ethic and intellectual curiosity
·  Excellent written and verbal communication
