The successful candidate will have a thirst for knowledge demonstrated by their learning of the platform and contribution to tactical defect resolution, strategic changes to avoid recurring defects, and contribution to forward development on the product platform.

Skills and Experience we require:
- Knowledge in Java and ideally exposure to at least one of the following: Javascript, Python, C++, Dojo, Node, Go, Ansible/Chef
- Understanding of the following technologies: HTTP, HTML, REST, JSON, XML, WSDL, SOAP, OAuth2
- Understanding of DevOps concepts and ideally some hands-on experience (Jenkins, Docker, container orchestration tool, Cloud frameworks etc.)
- Good Analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to learn a large number of technologies and protocols
- Knowledge of SaaS solutions a plus but not mandatory
Your first months at Axway:
- Join our teams working on our flagship product to learn the products and components that drive our organization
- You will be working on a world class API gateway product that has hundreds of customers including some of the largest financial manufacturing and service companies.
- There are over 100 integration protocols used in customer mission critical environments to work on and learn.
- You will be exposed to all aspects of API management, security and work flow. How much you can absorb will be up to you.
- You will be introduced to thinking like a hacker and to identify the primary API and system security vulnerabilities.
- You will operate in a large high performance code base and have been developed over 100s of man years, where a single installation may do thousands of transactions per second. You will experience how to detect and resolve issues in such a system.
- You will be working on a world class product with hundreds of current customers
- Work with mentors and managers helping you expand your knowledge
- Assist the support team in investigating issues and finding solutions
- Identify and deliver strategic changes to avoid repeat issues
- Participate in team planning, development, and release activities
