We are looking for an intern to become part of our Transformation/Digitalization Team

In the Transformation / Digitalization – team, we leverage technology to digitalize processes within AXA Belgium, while focusing on use cases securing delivery of the best value.

This is achieved by leveraging:

· Artificial Intelligence
· Process Digitalization
· Use of Robotics and process optimization methods
· Data & Performance management
· To enable data driven decision making & easy monitoring of decisions through dashboards Our Challenge:
We have set ourselves the ambition to move AXA Belgium to a digital business, meaning we will use digital technologies to change business models and provide new revenues and value-producing opportunities. Our aim is to automate manual & cognitive processes as well as to propose innovative technical solutions to disrupt current processes. As an ‘AI Innovation team', we use artificial intelligence as part of the implementation of new capabilities.

Your mission:

You will be on the forefront of setting up data-driven business changes and be responsible for their implementations

Your responsibilities will depend on your qualities & business needs:
· Identification of data-driven use-cases
· Helping to set up, execute & implement various Digitalization initiatives
· Working on Performance management by reviewing/improving dashboard in order to increase efficiency
· Collaborating with the business (departments within AXA) to better understand their needs & problems.
Duration:

· Timing: during academic year 2019
· Min. 2 months
· Min. 3 days/week (preferable 5 days/week)

Desired profile

Qualifications :

·  You are a master student in the field of computer science, IT, Data Analytics, Civil Engineer or Business engineer.
·  You have a keen interest in technology & AI and its implementation in a Business setting
·  Analytical mind-set & a (basic) understanding of Data Analytics and AI-algorithms
·  You have excellent communication skills in French and English OR in Dutch and English
·  Experience in SQL, Python, R are highly appreciated
·  You are able to think out-of-the-box while assessing & solving a business problem/need
·  You like to question current processes and propose new technologies as a response
·  AND MOST IMPORTANT: you want to participate at the source of AXA's technological transformation and be a pioneer.
