Within the Group, you will join the Group Risk Management.

The AXA Group Risk Management (GRM) brings together high level and multidisciplinary staff with engineers, actuaries and financials split between Paris, Zurich, Madrid and the US.

Its mains missions are focused on the following key areas:

  • <-- [if supportLists]-->Define the process enabling to identify, assess & mitigate the risks undertaken
  • Identify, analyze, model and aggregate the Group's risks (economic capital and emergence of economic value),
  • Contribute to mitigate the Group's risks (standards & policies, reinsurance, securitization, etc.).

Within this Direction, you will be part of the P&C Department.

The P&C Department is responsible for P&C Risks management.

Key missions of the department are to:

  • Set up an effective risk management framework :

Identify & map P&C (re)insurance risks, quantify risks (models), design validate & deploy internal model, set & monitor Risk Appetite, review & approve (re)insurance Standard & Policies, contribute to regulatory reports & relation with ACPR, leverage Group Internal model, conduct Group Use Test (produce RAF, STEC, ECR metrics), produce Elypse metrics

  • Ensure the effectiveness of the risk framework :

Promote a P&C RM culture throughout the AXA Group, contribute to IDR/TR agenda & work, drive NEO (the AXA Group Natural Events platform), ensure 2nd line of defence with 2nd opinion on P&C activities (Strategic plan, CEO dialogues questions, reserving, UW referrals (GUC membership), Reinsurance (GSC membership), CLEAR (Steerco membership), PMP (2nd opinion in ARCC)), steer Standards/Policies breaches identification & remediation (for ARCC validation/information)

Main Purpose & Core Activities of the job

Within the P&C Business Risks Management team, the P&C Risk Process & Program Manager will be responsible for the coordination of GRM P&C transversal Processes and Programs impacting both P&C Retail & Commercial activities.

This includes the following main activities performed on behalf of the Head of GRM P&C &/or the Head of GRM P&C Business Risks:

  • Planification & quality steering for GRM P&C activities.
  • Coordination of GRM P&C team meetings (Management committee, GRM P&C team meetings organization) & P&C Risk management forums (monthly meetings with entities P&C risk managers community).
  • Consolidation & preparation of Group strategic initiatives supports, ow the Portfolio Management Process second opinion from entities risk managers.
  • Planification & coordination of GRM P&C submissions to the ARCC.
  • Consolidation of information & preparation of communications toward top management.
  • GRM P&C budget set up & follow up.

Qualifications :

Technical & Soft Skills

·  Very good analytical and concise communication.
·  Ability to work in network, with tight deadlines and team spirit.
·  Good organizational and time management skills.
·  Strong written & oral communication skills.
·  Ability to challenge a variety of topics impacting the insurance value chain.
·  Taste for identifying the explicit & implicit rules of the different insurance markets.
·  English: Oral & written communication skills to easily interact in an international environment.

Background & Experience

·  Strong analytical & mathematical skills (Master’s in actuarial / Statistics, Engineer, Business Schools, …)
·  3-year experience in uw, actuarial or other insurance operational role is a bonus.
