Elaborate AXA IM's investment proposal to institutional clients/prospects through RFPs (Requests for Proposals)
The Global RFP Team
The Global RFP Team as part of Client Group department is a key contributor to elaborate our valuable investment proposals to clients, covering a wide array of clients around the world: institutional pension funds, insurance companies, distributors and corporate clients. Our proposals cover a diverse range of products including fixed income, equity, alternatives, and multi-assets investment solutions.
Being part of the RFP team involves a close working relationship with both investment areas and sales teams. As the team covers Europe, the United States and Asia; it presents an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to the inner workings of one of Europe's largest asset managers and to gain a wealth of knowledge about the products we manage and the markets we operate in.
As interns within AXA IM's RFP team are exposed to our main asset classes and our company structure, they will have to be able to convey these in a clear and synthetic way to help in the completion of RFPs and other related documents to win new assets (RFIs, Client pitch proposals).
Contributing/leading the redaction of investment proposals across main asset classes through an RFP project (from kick-off meeting to submission prior to the RFP deadline).
Liaising with internal contributors worldwide to source and challenge information, including various sales, investment teams (e.g. product specialists and portfolio managers), responsible investment specialists, risk managers and other support teams (e.g. legal, compliance and operations).
Compiling quantitative data (assets under management, staff, performance and risk analytics)
Screening the market for new business opportunities
Ideal candidate profile
Education / Qualifications
Undergraduate students with a major in Economics and/or Finance
Prior working experience in the financial industry (RFP, sales, marketing, fund management, communications, investment management)
Excellent level of English plus French
Knowledge and Skills
Excellent writing skills: enjoys writing and transforming technical descriptions into marketing documents, easy to read for non-specialists, with a strong emphasis on key selling points
Strong analytical skills and products knowledge

• Ability to understand and describe investment processes and financial solutions in detail
• Ability to challenge experts (Sales, Product Specialists, etc.) Good project management skills
