Technical Claims Assessor   

Salary £30,000 +

Are you a meticulous Claims Assessor with a strong technical foundation and a passion for customer service? Join our team as a Technical Claims Assessor and be a key player in providing swift and compassionate resolution to Travel and Accident & Health insurance claims.

A bit about the job:

You'll leverage your exceptional technical and organisational skills to swiftly comprehend and designate the appropriate experts. Travel claims has variety each day and requires decisions to be made quickly. Coordination with stakeholders and identification of essential documentation will be key in applying your insurance and legal knowledge to expedite the validation of claims.

Additionally, your adept application of commercial awareness and relationship-building skills will play a crucial role in liaising with brokers and key partners, fostering enduring working relationships. As you navigate complex claims with external suppliers, you will take charge and lead, ensuring a seamless compassionate approach to ensure we fully support our customers with empathy at a key time. Your commitment extends to maintaining the system with timely claim updates, guaranteeing comprehensive information from all involved parties is reflected in the system.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

· 
Well-developed interpersonal skills, to articulate technical issues to a variety of internal and external parties

· 
Strong technical knowledge. Able to understand and communicate complex policy conditions 

· 
Strong commercial acumen in order to challenge cost decisions and make decisions within your authority limits able to make balanced cost decisions quickly and in a decisive manner

· 
Well-developed customer service skills, ability to react quickly to decisions ensuring excellent customer engagement throughout 

· 
Ideally have or working towards CII qualification

Starting salary from £30,000 (depending on Location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
