Job description

We are recruiting for an IT Care Service Desk Technician to join our IT Care Service Desk Team based in York.

In this role, you will work within our busy call centre offering solutions to various technical queries and understanding our customers’ needs.

The working hours are currently 7pm-6am on a 4 on, 4 off pattern (including weekends and bank holidays).

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Answering customer technical queries, via telephone, live chat, email and via our internal ticketing system (Assyst).
  • Answering customer queries in a timely manner, handing anything pending to the Service Desk Leaders.

Skills & Experience required:

  • Previous customer service experience desirable.
  • Positive attitude and strong desire to meet customers’ needs.
  • Strong social skills/team player.
  • Flexible attitude towards change.
  • Thrives in challenging environment.

What will you get for this role?

  • Salary of as £17,500 - £22,000 depending on skills, experience and qualifications, plus 20% pay uplift for out of hours working.
  • 56 hours bank holiday compensation.
