INTERN - Business Analysis for Learning
About the role:
As an Intern with Learning & Development, you will provide assist the L&D Operations Lead to provide financial, vendor management and metrics reporting for O&LD.
Financial Support
This role will assist in conducting monthly meetings with budget owners to review actuals and forecasts, assist budget owners with reconciliation efforts, and preparing monthly and quarterly financial review reports.
Vendor Management Support
This role will assist in the full end-to-end vendor process which includes adding new vendors, creating PR/POs, vendor spend reporting, and managing monthly accruals.
Metrics Reporting
This role will assist in monthly collection, data analytics and reporting on Learning and Business metrics.
Day-to-day, you will:
• Work with L&D Operations Lead to report on the O&LD budget
• Assist with reconciliation of monthly activity and generating monthly, quarterly and year-end reports
• Support the Financial governance process for O&LD (e.g. for vendor management etc.)
• Partner and consult with L&D team leads to manage L&D vendors, leveraging support on transactional activities regarding reporting, vendor management, and financial controls
Qualifications
Qualifications
· MUST be currently enrolled in school
· Must be able to work onsite in Seattle. No exceptions
· Your Education Degree must be in Finance, Business Operations or Management, Business Analysis or related field.
· You must have a min. 3.2 GPA
In addition, your skillset likely includes:
• Established project management methodologies and full learning project lifecycle
• Any financial, vendor and metrics background
• Experience combing and reporting on finance and vendor spend a plus
• Adapt to changing business landscapes and embrace change
• Established consultancy skills across a range of stakeholders and business areas
• Demonstrate an effective ability to influence & negotiate
• Demonstrate good business acumen, including strong problem solving skills and critical thinking
• Demonstrate conceptual and innovative thinking
• Experience of working independently
• Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills at all levels
• Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
