About the role
The Experience Technology team turns concepts into reality by helping designers shape and imagine the future. It provides efficient and scalable solutions to deliver a seamless experience across multiple touch-points. Among these, HoloLens is a mixed reality device enabling new interactions for businesses.
As a Consultant, Experience Technology, you will focus on adapting holographic solutions for our clients. You will contribute to consulting projects by delivering visual comps, prototypes and final designs. You will maintain a constant awareness of new technologies and best practices and experiment with new techniques and proofs of concept.
Day-to-day, you will:
Create, realize, integrate, improve and/or animate visual assets using Unity
Define the graphic target of products in collaboration with the design and technical teams
Build prototypes and proofs of concept that contribute to Avanade's library of reusable features and modules
Communicate technical requirements, benefits or limitations in terms that non-technical staff can easily understand
Deliver creative technical solutions to address challenges to Avanade and our clients
Evangelize quality of code and attention to detail within Avanade through informal communication, formal presentations and training sessions
Work with teammates who lead other project aspects
Travel as needed.
Qualifications
About you
You are an experienced technology professional with passion for emerging technologies and desire to innovate. You can work with cross-functional teams and diverse clients. You have knowledge in industry leading 3D engines and best practices of visual assets production.
Your background and skills likely include:
• Experience with major 3D engines like Unity or Unreal Engine
• Experience with 2D and 3D assets production tools like 3DS max, Maya, Blender
• Ability to articulate the technical feasibility of solutions
• Mastery of modeling and texturing techniques for real-time rendering
• Knowledge in lightning and shading and HLSL shader implementation
• Understanding of rendering techniques
• Understanding of User Experience (UX) concepts, techniques and practices
• Ability to code to specifications
