Junior Data Scientist

Atos Consulting is a leading Swiss consulting company, part of the Atos group. We work with prestigious international clients in the areas of Manufacturing, Pharma, Insurances, Transport, Trading, Telecommunications, Media and Energy. For our Nyon team, we are currently looking for a JUNIOR DATA SCIENTIST (M/F) .

Your responsibilities

· Select features, build, and optimize classifiers using machine learning techniques (R, Python)
· Enhance data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytical systems
· Process, clean, and verify the integrity of data used for analysis, build models, and develop relevant insights
· Work closely with Data Engineers and Software Developers in translating complex analytical results into understandable and useful IT solutions

Your profile

· Experience with common Data Science toolkits (R, Python); excellence in at least one of these is highly desirable
· Experience with Data Vizualisation tools (Tableau, Spotfire, Power BI etc.)
· Familiarity with common scientific Python frameworks (Pandas etc.)
· Familiarity in designing and maintenance of data structures: using SQLite, MySQL, noSQL etc.
· Experience in Data Engineering tools and techniques (MapReduce, Pig, Hive, HBase, Oozie, Spark, Solr) is a plus
· Experience with Software Programming using Asp .NET, C# is a plus
· Travel willingness (French-speaking area Switzerland)
· Bachelor or Master in Computer Science, Data Science or relevant related field
· Fluent in French and English
