Indeed, our client, specialized in the Oil & Gas Field is currently looking for:

- 1 LEAD STATIC EQUIPMENT ENGINEER H/F -
The Lead Static Equipments Engineer is responsible for the supervision, control and proper coordination of all Static Equipments engineering works, including Basic and Detailed engineering works for the project.

 
* Basic and Detailed Design deliverables from the Engineering contractor review/approval: Produce comment in due time, explain to Contractor and follow up the implementation
* Review and propose answer to possible technical queries related to his/her discipline  
* Interfaces between disciplines: Inform engineering leader and liaise with other discipline involved –mainly mechanical, piping, instrumentation, structure and safety- to ensure best trade-off between various constraints. 
* Interfaces between packages: in liaison with interface leader, ensure consistency and continuity of design; provide assistance with regards to interfaces between packages when related to his/her discipline.
* Meeting: keep regular and good quality communication with his/her counterpart(s) on Contractor's side and put in place technical meetings to follow up progress, explain main comments, and provide guidance etc...
* Reporting to Engineering Manager with regards to his/her discipline: any deviations from the referential, main technical issue, area of concern, progress, quality etc… Propose mitigation measures when drift is noticed for final decision on whether or not to implement.
* Involve him/her in safety aspects of the construction and report any anomalies noticed on site, in particular when related to his/her discipline. Propose remedial action
* Assist Engineer Manager with review of possible change orders, planning constraints etc when related to his/her discipline.
* Provide regular feed back to TEC and get support when necessary. Ensure lessons learnt from previous project are well integrated in the project for his/her discipline. To organise assistance from corporate organisation or from external specialists as necessary and ensure witnessing/inspection of Static Equipment activities, including those performed at vendor premises.
* Organisation and participation in the HAZOP and PTR reviews.
* Participation in the contractor's weekly meetings, etc.
* Ensure that design modifications are correctly followed-up / implemented by EP Contractor
* Comment on Contractor documents in due time.
* Follow-up of the contractors in his discipline
* Witness / Participate in the reception and/or FAT's when necessary.
* Duly and timely review of engineering documents related to Vessels

Profil recherché

* Chartered engineer with 15 years' experience minimum as a Static Equipment Engineer
* Previous experience working for a reputable contractor at FEED or detailed design level for offshore projects. He shall have been in the role of Senior Static Equipment Engineer responsible for a critical Static Equipment design.
* Previous FPSO design experience preferred. Whilst previous experience in an Construction and Installation role is beneficial, the majority of the Static Equipment Engineer's experience should be in a design role.
* Good overall knowledge of offshore Static Equipment design practices and specifications are essential including standards.
* Knowledge of Total specifications is essential.
* A good overall understanding of the Static Equipment engineering scope of work during Basic and detail Engineering and how the Static Equipment design impacts on the overall FPSO / project design is necessary. Should be able to work autonomously with proactive approach when dealing with the Contractor.
