Purpose
As CPU Modelling Engineer, your main role consists in developing the CPU performance models in use in the centre.
These models are primarily used for initial micro-architectural studies to help and define the specifications of next-gen CPUs, focusing on high performance and energy efficiency.
In close collaboration with other Sophia-based engineering teams, you will explore the most recent technology and directly contribute to the micro-architectural investigations.

Job Requirements
Education
Preferably graduate from a University or Engineering School, in electronic engineering or computer science, although other science graduates would be considered if they have relevant experience
Experience
0-5 year experience in electronics and computing industry.
Technical Attributes
Applicants should have:
· Excellent programming skills (C or C++)
· A strong understanding of the fundamentals of CPU architecture
Ideal applicants might also have knowledge or experience in the following areas:
· CPU or System modelling (C, C++ or SystemC)
· Knowledge in compilers and code generation
· Performance analysis / benchmarking

· Demonstrate enthusiasm, drive and diligence
· Be able to work efficiently alone as well as in a team environment
· Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English
