About the role

Over the past two decades, ARM has experienced phenomenal success. As we continue to grow and evolve our organisation, our People team has a critical role to play in realising our strategy of ‘Enabling the Extraordinary’. As such, we are expanding our team to ensure we can provide excellent service to our people and develop a robust talent pipeline of future leaders.

We are presently looking to hire an intern that will contribute to our initiatives and activities in the space of Human Resources. Our People team Intern program will enable you to gain exposure to some of the key People functions whilst also contributing to key projects that help deliver our team goals and objectives. The internship could be in any one of the areas of acquiring talent, effectively on-boarding and managing different employee life cycle processes, helping develop and progress talent and designing and implementing effective reward and recognition initiatives. You could also have the opportunity to contribute to activities that strengthen the culture at ARM of making the most of its talent, appreciating the diversity in ideas, thoughts and opinions that they bring and leveraging this for business success.

You will be assigned a mentor for the duration of your internship who will guide you and provide the needed support to ensure that you are able to contribute effectively and make the most of the learning experience.

We are looking for candidates with an interest to pursue a career in Human Resources or a related field with a strong academic record. So we encourage applications from candidates who are on track to achieve, or have already achieved at least a 2.1 degree. Business or Humanities related subjects are preferred, but we will also accept applications from candidates pursuing other academic subjects.

As a successful People team intern candidate, you will need to demonstrate a high level of numeracy, excellent attention to detail and strong IT skills. The ability to take initiative and work well with minimal supervision is also essential. Knowledge of Excel or interest in data analytics/ reward is a must.
