SCOPE AND RESPONSABILITIES
The Android audio Engineer has a main mission: the integration of post-processing algorithms in android devices such smartphones.
His scope of activities includes technical relationship with customers, various development steps (audio effects, audio server, application...) and integration of our solution within android OS.
Main responsibilities:
- Porting and integration of the Arkamys audio effects within Android OS
- Development and modification of the Android Native layer components
- Technical interface with customers and sound engineers
- Design, coding and testing of algorithmic blocks of audio processing.
Position will require some domestic and international travel.
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:
- C, C++ and Java programming
- Familiarity with Android audio architecture
- Experience in Android / Linux / Android NDK / OpenSL-ES systems
- Real time programing on embedded systems or processors such ARM or DSP (Qualcomm…)
- Experience in modifying Android Open Source Project (AOSP)
- Experience on audio / speech processing and acoustics
- Experience of audio component integration
- Experience on smartphone domain.
WORK EXPERIENCE :More than 2 years experience in embedded audio developments
EDUCATION: MS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
LANGUAGES :English, French
