What you'll do
As a C3 Security Testing Coordinator at Sainsbury's, you will play a vital role in facilitating and coordinating security testing, vulnerability scanning, and vulnerability management across the entire group, including JS, Argos, Bank, and Nectar. Your main focus will be to plan and schedule penetration tests, both internally and with external suppliers. You will coordinate all security testing for new projects and annual BAU testing requirements, managing relationships and availability with internal security testing teams, as well as with external security testing partners. In addition, you will ensure successful testing by coordinating prerequisites such as physical / logical access, change approvals, and NAC exceptions. You will be responsible for triage assessments and quality assurance on output, measuring performance against contractual SLAs, and driving remediation activities in line with policy. Regular reporting for committees and implementing closed feedback loops to improve processes will also be part of your role. Furthermore, you'll assist with coordinating red / blue / purple team exercises, tracking output, and escalating issues to relevant stakeholders for resolution. Your excellent communication skills, ability to manage multiple workstreams, and strong organisational skills will enable you to succeed in this role.

Your role focuses on coordinating and facilitating security testing, vulnerability scanning, and vulnerability management across the entire Sainsbury's Group. With your strong attention to detail, you ensure successful testing by coordinating prerequisites, managing relationships with both internal and external testing teams, and driving remediation activities. Your ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously, make decisions under pressure, and deliver key messages to senior committees showcases your autonomy and ability to handle complex and technical issues while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards. Additionally, your understanding of information security frameworks and industry requirements contributes to the successful execution of security testing activities.
