· The Digital Product Information team is a fantastic team to be a part of as we allow you full autonomy to identify, create and implement the best visual content assets for your categories. You will understand your category and customer requirements and utilising your skills, ensure we have the best images and videos across our different channels.

The main purpose of this role is to work collaboratively with suppliers and internal stakeholders to manage, communicate and deliver an on brand, best in class customer shopping experience for a range of product categories across all Argos digital and paper channels.

Key responsibilities will include:

Provide effective leadership and management of suppliers through proactive relationship building, influencing and negotiation to maximise operational efficiency and collaboration
Work effectively within a ‘cell’ of specialist to identify and provide the product information as the category experts
Known throughout the business and supplier base as the authority on the customer shopping journey for their categories
Internal stakeholders receive channel optimised & customer-centric product information on time and in full, through:

Daily communication with supplier and external agencies
Category expertise
Qualitative governance and audits
Pragmatic use of commercial acumen

To challenge one’s self and others to achieve their maximum potential, owning and delivery cross functional goals

Key skills:

Full competency with current Microsoft Operating systems and office applications
Proven supplier and/or agency management
Analytical mind-set and evidence of looking for and developing new ways of working within role
Commercially aware, sensitive to changes and evolutions in the market, using this knowledge to inform day to day and longer-term decisions
Superb communication, able to adapt style to influence stakeholders
