JUNIOR LEGAL COUNSEL

Job description

ArcelorMittal is looking for an entrepreneurial and self-motivated lawyer to join its legal team located in Luxembourg. As part of ArcelorMittal Legal Europe, the Luxembourg team provide legal support at both at Luxembourg Level in a wide range of area (labor law, contracts, company, litigation, criminal, energy, etc …) and at European Level in some expertise area (Environment, International Trade, Industrial investments
- Capex, public funding, Climate Change).
The applicant must be a either a native or fluent French and English speaker, a third fluent language would be appreciated.
The applicant must have a Master degree in Law and some experiences as a generalist covering different topics (like commercial contracts drafting and negotiation, HR, litigation, competition law, EU regulations, IP, insurance, etc …)
The candidate is expected to have minimum 2-year practice (but all candidates with demonstrable ability to fulfil the role will be considered). In-house experience is preferable and an international context experience will also be appreciated. Beyond legal topics and experience, interest in business aspects is key.
A dynamic attitude, open minded approach and curiosity with an open communication are essential. The candidate must also show some ability to face challenges and unpredictable changes in day to day work. Working as a team player in a team is also necessary.
