About Aperam
Aperam, a leading global stainless steel producer, was created in 2011 as a result of the spin-off of the stainless steel and alloys activities of ArcelorMittal.
Aperam Stainless Services & Solutions Luxembourg, subsidiary of Aperam located in Rodange, Luxembourg, is currently looking for an engineer for a duration of 18 months (possible to extend up to 24 months).
In the highly competitive market of stainless steels Bars & coils in Europe, the production engineer will support the Operations Manager and the leadership team to increase the speed of transformation of the company.
Your mission
- New Manufacturing Execution System (MES) project manager
- Assist Operations Manager to further deploy shop floor continuous improvement tools (lean organization,5S,TPM, SMED,Operational Excellence Efficiency etc…)
- Active participation to the global transformation project of Rodange
- In relation with Finance controller improve production cost & margin analysis at product level
- Ensure regular and positive communication to stakeholders about project status and success
Your profile
- Graduated from an engineering school
- Drive, enthusiasm, autonomous self starter
- Effective communication skills
- Pragmatic, problem solving approach with experience, out of the box thinker
- Excel and Powerpoint expertise (Google Sheet & Google Slides)
- French & English fluency is essential
