This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in a fast growing business, and to drive significant value for startups building sophisticated, scalable applications.
We are seeking for an entrepreneur in spirit, who has experience with Venture Capital in addition to and startup organizations. As Venture Capital (VC) Business Development Representative you will be in charge of working with VC's across Europe Middle East and Africa (EMEA). You will have the opportunity to build relationships, impacting the business of upcoming startups, and mapping the startup communities in emerging markets. The VC Business Development Associate goal will be to promote Amazon Web Services with portfolio companies of VC's, delivering added value that will potentially help the startups businesses and build trusted relationship with these organizations. You will be an important member of the startup team interacting directly with EMEA leadership in addition to international internal functions within Amazon.

Roles & Responsibilities
· Build trusted relationships with VC's and influencers in emerging markets
· Track, log and analyze investments and key trends across the startup ecosystem
· Working closely with the Startup and A&I Business development managers of AWS in addition to our sales and solution architect team.
· Promote AWS to the portfolio companies of the VC's you will engage
· Identifying upcoming startups in which AWS and Amazon.com can deliver added value to.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Fluency in English.
· Experience in working, engaging or raising capital from VC's
· Significant relevant work experience such as management consulting, investment banking, principal investing or corporate finance rotation.
· Experience in working in international companies.
· Passion for startups, technology and building ecosystem
· Willingness to travel 40% of the time
· Understanding of the lifecycle and needs of startups
