Our team is looking for a passionate senior UX designer to support a high-profile team. The right candidate will be a self-starter, bringing together a strong experience in UX and visual design. We are looking for someone with a roll-up-your-sleeves, entrepreneurial approach to solving complex problems. This role will have a significant impact on the business, leading the design direction for several AWS services. The role will involve working collaboratively with engineering, product management, executive leadership, and other designers, leading design throughout the development lifecycle.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· At least five (5) years of experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer, information architect, or similar UX-related role
· An online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating relevant experience
· Fluency in best practices for information architecture and interaction design, user-centered design process, as well as strong knowledge of user experience principles and techniques
· At least four (4) years of experience creating prototypes or detailed wire-frames for complex web applications
· At least two (2) years of experience working in a collaborative team and directly with developers for implementation of designs
· Familiarity with user interface patterns for web
