World Wide Public Sector (WWPS) Training is looking for an experienced Training Coordinator who is great fun to work with, because at Amazon Web Services, we have a credo of “Work hard. Have fun. Make history.” We are looking for an energetic and passionate team player to take ownership of the Public Sector training & enablement programs that will help us efficiently and effectively provide relevant and impactful training across our organization.
The WWPS Training Coordinator will work closely with the WWPS Training Team to coordinate the planning and delivery of live and virtual delivery of workshops. This includes but is not limited to LMS management, performance consulting, scheduling classes, hosting Onboarding and Everboarding training events, preparing reports and managing engagements end to end.

The successful candidate will possess the ability to complete complex tasks and projects quickly with little to no guidance, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, switch gears at a moment's notice, and take effective action without having to know the total picture.
Ideal candidates will possess several years of experience in a training or team coordination position in addition to strong written, verbal and facilitation skills. This position requires 15-30% domestic/international travel for on-site program execution.

Responsibilities
· Schedule training classes. This includes arranging venues, coordinating instructors and ordering training materials.
· Manage class registration. Using the LMS and Outlook, liaise with students to accept their registrations, confirm bookings, manage cancellations/changes and maintain an accurate participant count.
· Manage inbound communications including questions and/or concerns.
· Assist with updating, assembling and distributing training program participant materials.
· Support the training measurement process by pulling scores and comments, continuously updating and producing reports, and helping the Manager of Training organize data for monthly, quarterly and ad hoc reporting to executives.
· Assist, as required, with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions related to public and private onsite training and billing.
· Perform additional projects and other related duties as assigned or as responsibilities dictate.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Basic Qualifications
· Bachelor's Degree
· 3+ years of experience in a training and/or team coordination position.
· 2+ years using an enterprise Learning Management System (LMS) to schedule and manage training activities; Cornerstone is preferred
· 2+ years creating, managing and reporting on training program metrics
· 2+ years using the Microsoft Office suite (SharePoint, Outlook, Word & Excel)
· Must be willing to travel 25-50% domestic/international travel for on-site program execution.
