Our Special Projects team is looking for a Program Manager to help build a foundation for a new product from the ground up. You'll be part of a world-class team in a fast-paced environment that has the entrepreneurial feel of a start-up. In this role, you will drive the execution of all customer engagement efforts. You will work with Solutions Architects, product managers and early customers (internal Amazon and external) to improve the product and experience for a wide range of customers. You must be responsive, flexible and able to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment. You will enjoy dealing with ambiguity and change and have a focus on execution. You will have a curious mind and enjoy digging into problems but also know when to step back and bring focus on the high priority items. Your responsibilities will include helping customers get acquainted with our new product and help the product team evolve the services to address issues, concerns, and requests from the field as the voice of the customer.
Your Responsibilities
· Build strong processes and lead a disciplined execution cadence for the customer engagement and SA teams.
· Manage the execution of customer engagement efforts across all milestones, including alpha, beta, GA and post-GA launches with internal and external customers
· Manage the development schedule for all apps by Solutions Architects. Drive implementation of use cases across all phases of execution, including requirements definition, solution design, solution implementation, and deployment with the SA team.
· Collaborate with team members at all levels to define and implement mechanisms to collect and prioritize customer feedback
· Ensure SAs gather customer feedback, stack rank the feedback, and provide clear functional requirements to the product management team for prioritization.
· Understand use cases and customer requirements to support the trade-off and prioritization discussions for our product offering
· Help solve complex challenges, identify bottlenecks and dependencies, and unblock teams for execution
· Lead the process to define key program metrics
· Document inventory of customer engagement deliverables, drive alignment, and ensure implementation of metrics to track progress against program goals
· Report consistently on progress in weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual business reviews with leadership team

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's degree required
· 10+ years of Program Management experience
· Minimum 2 years experience working with customers and complex v1 products
