Compliance Operations (C-Ops) is part of Health Safety Sustainability Security and Compliance (HSSSC) organization within Amazon. C-Ops ensures that Amazon transactions satisfy legal and safety requirements in compliance with guidelines set by regulatory bodies.
We are looking for high-potential, flexible, innovative, and forward-thinking professionals to join our newly formed Small Scale Automation function within C-Ops. This role requires working with Operations Business and Tech teams to define requirements and high-level process/system solutions for driving automation across manual processes. It also requires leading a team of analysts who are developing various efficiency improvement tools and simple UI`s that can be quickly produced and deployed. This position involves regular engagement with both tech and non-tech functions, writing Business Requirement Documents and overseeing delivery of projects in a timely manner. Cross-team coordination and project management are essential, as well as ability to communicate and influence across functions.
· Work with leadership and key business and engineering stakeholders to set strategy, define the product, and make appropriate high-judgement trade-offs between features and speed-to-launch
· Lead a global team of analysts, creating appropriate vision, defining strategy, goals and success criteria
· Use case prioritization, feature definition, ownership of product roadmap
· Identify and analyze feature requests to determine business value and priority, develop business cases, test/implement solutions and prioritize competing program opportunities.
· Partner with stakeholders at multiple levels and lead teams to define and deliver solutions.
· Create artifacts to define the business request
· Collaborate with global peers to launch projects internationally
· Roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary; owner mentality

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Software, Mathematics, or other technical field from an accredited university
· 3+ years product management and/or business leadership experience in technology context
· Technical fluency; comfort understanding and discussing technology concepts, schedule tradeoffs and new opportunities with technical team members
· Possess strong communication and leadership skills
· Able to work in an ambiguous, dynamic & ‘internet-speed' environment with tight deadlines
· Have an absolute passion for ensuring a great customer experience
· Outstanding attention to detail; Exceptional problem solving & analytical skills
· Previous experience in managing individual contributors
· Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral
