Elemental Technologies, an Amazon Web Services company, is the leader in software-defined video solutions. We are looking for a Systems Engineer based in Dubai to provide superior pre-sales and post-sales support for our EMEA customers, including enterprise and strategic customers. In this role, you will work collaboratively with other technical and sales team members as a trusted contributor to a driven, innovative sales team.

What you'll do:
· Act as the primary technical interface for customer evaluations
· Provide responsive and knowledgeable pre-sales support
· Work with Solutions Architects to design and integrate our products into customer workflows
· Communicate customer feedback to Product Management (feature requests, market trends, etc.)
· Train customers and system integrators on product use and best practices
· Resolve complex customer issues with quickly evolving products
· Work closely with the Software Engineering team to verify technical requirements for customer-requested features and defect fixes

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· A BS in computer science, electrical engineering, or other related field
· Experience working with Broadcast, OTT, or MSO workflows
· Experience with compressed digital video standards, especially around MPEG-2, H.264, and HEVC technologies
· Experience with adaptive streaming technologies (DASH, Apple, Microsoft)
· Experience with Linux operating systems and using at least one Linux-based scripting language (e.g. Perl, Ruby, Bash, Python)
· Willingness to travel throughout the EMEA region, up to 50%
