The Amazon Speech team is a group of scientists and developers working on audio, speech and natural language solutions that revolutionize how customers interact with Amazon’s products and services. The team’s mission is to push the envelope in automatic speech recognition (ASR) and natural language understanding (NLU) in order to provide the best possible experience for our customers. Products such as Amazon Echo, Amazon Dash, and Fire TV are illustrative of the user-delighting spoken language solutions Amazon is building.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
· Graduate degree in computer science, machine learning, computer engineering, mathematics, related technical discipline, or related industry experience
· Demonstrated experience with machine learning, natural language processing, deep learning, data mining, and/or text/speech processing methodologies.
· Experience applying CS fundamentals in data structures and algorithms.
· 6+ years industry experience building distributed production software systems
· 3+ years experience in system design and architecture
· Knowledge of object oriented design patterns
