We are looking for a Software Development Manager to be based in Dubai, UAE. Responsibilities include direct management of development engineers, process and operational improvements, strategic planning, project management, and coordination of resources across teams. Successful candidates will be strong leaders who can prioritize well, communicate clearly, and have a consistent track record of developing engineers and teams that deliver results. The person will also be responsible for the team managing SAP systems.

You will be responsible for the hiring and development of people, operations of high scale, distributed systems, delivery of programs, design and architecture of the systems. We are also looking for thought leaders who can challenge the status quo, and come up with ideas that will benefit our customers.

Desired profile

Basic qualifications

· BS in computer science or related field
· 3+ years experience managing software development teams
· 5+ years experience in a technical project management, software development, or related role
· Demonstrated ability to manage and develop teams of software development engineers
· Demonstrated ability to independently plan and deliver complex, high quality software
· Oral and written communication skills (ability to produce runbooks, technical, and non-technical documentation)
· Good experience with projects requiring systems integration
· Exposure to financial systems, such as SAP, will be a plus.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
