Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a software development manager to lead next-generation network control software development for one of the largest networks on the planet. The Amazon network is in perpetual motion, which mission-critical adjustments being made daily to ensure the safety, security, and availability for our customers. It is controlled by software that operates at massive scale, and its infrastructure must scale up to keep pace with automated management systems and tools. You will be at the center of building software that orchestrates network growth and our new graphical user interface (GUI) that connects the network designer to our backend services. This is a unique opportunity to shape the design, development, and rollout of large-scale distributed systems that will support the growth of Amazon's business.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Basic Qualifications:
· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent).
· 5+ years of relevant development and design experience.
· 3+ years of management experience (managing engineers).
