We are looking for a Software Development Manager (SDM) to lead and define the technical direction, build exceptional team and drive operation excellence of a massive scale (multi-million transactions per second). As SDM, you will lead highly-talented team of engineers and interface with product managers, program managers, designers to continuously push the boundary to redefine 'THE world's best buying experience'.

You will own worldwide detail pages which serves all product category and marketplace. The team works on variety of frontend, backend, server technologies to provide scalable and extensible system architecture across all devices, browsers with low-latency bandwidth consideration.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
· 10+ years of software development experience, as a developer and manager
· 3+ years of experience as a development manager (with direct authority over development of staff)
· Experience in leading and successfully delivering complex, scalable software systems with significant business/customer impact
· Knowledge of professional software engineering practices for full software development life cycle (agile), including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
