DESCRIPTION

The AWS Marketing Engineering team is building a new platform to deliver a set of highly scalable and innovative serverless web apps for the marketing org and our customers. Our front end stack uses a modern development environment (TypeScript, JavaScript, React, Webpack, GraphQL), and our backend APIs are built using a serverless architecture, employing AWS services such as Cognito, API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB, and more.

As a Software Development Engineer (SDE), you will be the technical leader of the development of multiple REST-based microservices, integrations with the serverless architecture, and how the front end appliances interface to your services. You will provide technical, architectural, and customer-focused guidance to the engineering team, product management, and UX designers, while building services that are intuitive, performant, and secure. You will help drive the code and team towards high standards and best practices. You will also help identify and fix bugs, and ensure that your code is operationally complete.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

o 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
o Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design.
o 1+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.
