This new program provides a series of tools and services for creating great experiences for brand owners to communicate their brand message. Brands benefit from the self-service advertisement ecosystem to make their stores discoverable, and provide insights into their stores traffic and performance.
The Amazon Stores program is an strategic intersection between advertisement and retail, as we provide an unparalleled destination for ad campaigns, but also enable stores to be organically discovered through the Amazon shopping journey. We operate one of the most sophisticated set of front-end, API and big data technologies across all of Amazon. We partner with dozens of teams across Amazon retail, advertisement, marketplace and core shopping. Our products and initiatives are highly visible across Amazon (CEO, S-Team), impacting the global set of brands and how they interact with Amazon. We are looking for SDEs to help us build the next generation of experiences and self service tools for Store shoppers and owners. As a key team member, you will help build and scale a combination of self-service tools, customer-facing shopping experiences on Amazon.com worldwide, rapid UI experimentation and analytics UI interfaces. On Amazon Stores we foster and embrace innovation; you will get a chance to apply cutting edge front end, cloud and big data technologies and help us build, scale and operate the largest self-service products for brands to have a beautiful, responsive and multi-device presence on Amazon. You will work with customers to scope, design, implement, test and launch new features. You will determine and recommend the right design and UX based on business objectives, timelines and resource constraints. · Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
· Equivalent experience to a Bachelor's degree based on 3 years of work experience for every 1 year of education
· 3+ years professional experience in software development
· Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design
· Computer Science fundamentals in data structures
· Computer Science fundamentals in algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis
· Proficiency in, at least, one modern programming language such as C, C++, Java, or Perl
