Interested in complex, cross-organizational projects that combat customer abuse of Amazon's generous Customer Service concession policies? We need an experienced Software Development Engineer (SDE) to join the Secure Delivery and Concession Abuse Prevention (CAP) technical team. As a member of this team, you will operationalize machine learning (ML) models and create software to interface with Amazon's numerous backend systems that directly impact customers from checkout to delivery and when they contact Customer Service. You will work on full-stack solutions in AWS used by our Customer Service Agents that provide recommendations and the data needed for decision making. You will also work on solutions that utilize ML to recommend Secure Delivery treatments (e.g Signature Required) when a customer is checking out on Amazon. You will collaborate with your team to solve difficult technical problems with solutions that are testable, maintainable, and efficient. At Amazon, we are known for our customer obsession. Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of technical education and work experience in computer science basics
· 3+ years of Software Development experience
· Strong software development background with fundamentals in algorithms and data structures (Java preferably on Linux platform)
· Good analytical skills and background with distributed (multi-tiered) systems, algorithms, and databases
