The team is developing the software that ensures every server in the AWS fleet is built, configured and performing according to its design and specification. Our software systems detect and identify quality defects at all points in the server lifecycle and use automation to eliminate or minimize impact to AWS service owners.
This is a hands on position where you will be asked to do everything from building rock-solid components to mentoring other engineers. You need to not only be a top software developer with a good track record of delivering, but also excel in communication, leadership and customer focus. A large part of the job will be managing and developing engineering strategies across numerous platforms and architectures. You'll develop and automate tests for servers and systems using scripting while ensuring required specifications are met including analyzing and recording data. You'll also participate in testing long term reliability of storage, servers and components.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience to a Bachelor's degree based on 3 years experience for every 1 year of education
· Proficiency in, at least, one modern programming language such as C, C++, C#, Java, or Perl/Python
