You likely don't know about Alexa shopping or haven't tried it, and you're not alone! We're building brand new tech that will model customers as a state machine with states like:
· Never shopped on Alexa
· Used it once, never again
· Use it a few times here and there but not regularly
· Used it but the NLU thought I wanted to order a hot dog and never tried it again
· Power user
We can personalize our approach to drive customers through the various states. Imagine this:

Kevin is a new homeowner who never tried shopping on Alexa. He is a very savvy shopper often cross referencing Slickdeals with camelcamelcamel. We can nudge Kevin to try shopping on Alexa by sending a push alert saying “Hey Kevin, the Apple AirPods are 43% off this week, just tell me if you want to buy it”. Imagine the look on his face when he visits camelcamelcamel and finds it is the lowest price ever?

Or imagine Neil, a very angry shopper who is even more angry using Alexa. He tried using “What are my deals?” and was furious at the products presented to him. Neil likes the best of the best in smart home gear so we bring him back by having Alexa say, “Hey Neil, sorry I messed up last week I'm still learning. There's a new 4K Nest Cam that customers are loving, want to hear more about it?”

ps. We have a bottle of ML powder and liquid AI that we plan to open next year but we need a baseline product to start with. Help us ship our first experiences so we can start shipping weekly, so we can guide our product evolution based on actual customer usage.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
· 3+ years professional experience in software development
· Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms and problem solving
· Big ideas and a tiny ego. Tiny Eggo™ optional. Co-workers will always accept waffles of any size.
