The Marketplace Abuse team is responsible for ensuring customer and seller trust by eliminating abuse and creating a fair marketplace ecosystem for Sellers and Vendors. Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· BS in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field plus at least one year of experience.
· Solid knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals (object-oriented design, data structures and algorithm design)
· Strong, object-oriented design and coding skills (C/C++ and/or Java on a UNIX or Linux platform)
· 2+ years professional experience in software development
· Experience in building large scale distributed systems
· Experience in scaling and performance tuning of large systems
· Experience with AWS and other cloud technologies
· Experience in an Agile-led software development team
· Software development experience in JSP, Spring, AWS, S3, SQS, building web services and highly scalable applications
· Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages
· Understanding of relational data modeling and SQL
· Excellent communication and analytical skills
· Experience developing software in a Unix/Linux environment
